Washington DC Temple

The Washington DC temple is the temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. It is located in Kensington, Maryland with three towers to the east and three to the west. A large plot of land was bought and only few acres were used to construct the temple in-order to give it a remote touch. The estimated cost of the temple was around 15 million dollars out of which 6 million were raised by the local members.

During the first week of the opening many government officials were invited for special tours through the temple. It also attracted thousands of people from all across the state which created a huge buzz and gained mass coverage in some of the highly admired newspapers. The temple became an important landmark because of its sheer beauty and structure.

Over the years, it has attracted tourists from all across the world along with the locals to witness an amazing epitome of artistic and architectural beauty.
