The Earth Station One is a ride which is based on a simulation which showcases a flight around the earth's orbit in a realistic environment. The earth and its orbit is represented here by an eleven feet artificial globe that is put on a state of suspension on an air filled vacuum which again is created in an amphitheatre that can seat as many as 72 people. The perfect way of enjoying a Washington travel, a visit to this amazing museum is both fun as well as educational.
