Washington DC has three airports, two international airports, Washington Dulles International Airport and Baltimore-Washington International Airport(BWI) and one national airport, Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport.

Parking in the Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport is provided on an hourly and daily basis, and is highly economical. Daily parking and hourly parking is available in various parking garages A, B and C and in Lot A-2. There are shuttle buses carrying you form the parking lots to the terminals, while the garages are only in walking distance. As parking spaces are limited, passengers are advised to come well ahead of check in time.

Dulles International Airport will include two daily garages, four economy parking lots and one hourly in the Main terminal. In addition, free transport is provided for the passengers from the airport. PAY & GO is an automated payment system with automated payment machines in the lower terminal near the east and west exit doors and on the pedestrian bridge near the Daily parking garage. If you rent a taxi, you can call them to pick you from the cell phone waiting area, and usually Dulles does not encourage discount coupons for parking.

BWI airport parking is an assortment for parking facilities that has hourly, daily and long-term parking options. The passengers are transported for no cost from the parking areas to the terminals. Pay-and-Go machines in the Skywalk and Concourse A, B and D. They also have a cell phone parking are for call as you land and arrive to the Dulles Airport at the BWI Marshall's Daily Garage in the Terminal Road and Scott Drive. The public parking near National Mall is limited and on-street parking during rush hour is restricted. So in order to avoid the parking hassles one can opt for parking garages located in Jefferson and Madison drives in front of Smithsonian Musuem. In addition there are several on-street free parking lots available, but the parking duration is restricted only for two hours.

Parking in or nearby vicinity of Verizon Center could be an arduous task especially during special events. Though the center has its own parking garage which is located under the building opens 90 minutes before event and closes after 60 minutes of event closing.
