The museum is a memorial of Holocaust which was happened in Germany in 1933 - 1945 under the influence of Nazi's. The admission is free and the museum is great in all words.

For the students, museum provide education about the history of Holocaust and period between 1939-1945 like World War II in Europe, Murder of the Disabled ("Euthanasia" Program), Persecution and Murder of Jews, Ghettos, Mobile Killing Squads (Einsatzgruppen), Expansion of the Concentration Camp System, Killing Centers, Additional Victims of Nazi Persecution, Resistance (Jewish Resistance and Non-Jewish Resistance), Rescue, United States/World Response, Death Marches, Liberation.

United States Holocaust Memorial Museum has many exhibitions like The Holocaust (pass required), remember the Children: Daniel's story (No pass). There are two memorial places first one is Hall of Remembrance and second is Children's tile wall. In the children's tile wall the 1.5 million are memorialized who was killed in the Holocaust.

The museum is open all week 10 am to 5.30 pm and it is extended in spring time. The museum only closed its door on two days. They are Yom Kippur and Christmas day.

Passes only required for permanent exhibitions and passes can be obtained from Wilf Pass desk. The museum has its own Library, Cafe and shop have timings 10 am- 5pm, 8.30 am- 4.30pm, and 10 am- 5.20pm, respectively.
