The National Postal Museum is open to the public free seven days a week. Except on December 25, the museum is open from 10:00am to 5:30pm.
The National Postal Museum is accessible via public transport by taking the Red Line to Union station if you take the Metrorail. On the other hand, one can also take the bus service through downtown Washington, DC and take the DC Circulator Bus. If you wish to drive your own car when visiting the museum, parking will never be a problem because street parking close to the museum is available and the Union Station has an all-day paid parking available.
