There is a general suburban housing with majority of the students living in college houses. First year students are guaranteed on-campus accommodation. The housing policies note that there are 31% of all undergraduates living in college housing, Coed Housing and Women Housing. When it comes to the student council, there are 46% in-state students and 54% out-state students governing the student's body. The university houses in total 2268 degree-seeking undergrads, 426 freshmen and 1350 graduate enrollees.

In the sports arena, the university is a member of the NCAA and the following are offered: Men's Intramural Golf, Men's Intramural and Women's Intramural Softball, Women's Volleyball, Cross-Country, Lacrosse, Swimming, Basketball and Soccer.
Admission into this university in percentiles include: 73% students returning for sophomore year and 83% admissions. There is an application fee requirement depending on your status for instance $35 for regular and out of state fees. Transfer students are not left out provided they have passed the SAT exams.
