The Franklin Delano Roosevelt (FDR) Memorial is the memorial constructed in remembrance of Franklin Delano Roosevelt, the U.S President. This presidential memorial also represents the era he lived.

According to his friend Felix Frankfurter, FDR wanted his memorial to be put up in the centre of the green plot in facade of the Archives Building. It is located near the National Mall along the Cherry Tree Walk on the Western Edge of the Tidal Basin. It covers about 7.5 acres.

The memorial comprises 10 bronze sculptures of the President sitting with his dog Fala in a Wheel Chair, his wife Eleanor Roosevelt and that of Second World War. The stones in the memorial have the words of FDR engraved in it like "The only thing we have to fear, is fear itself."

It has 4 outdoor rooms each one devoted to one of the FDR's terms.
