Review:
The room was clean and the bathroom was nice - the bar/restaurant on the lobby level was unique and very good - staff was gracious and helpful - public areas was beautiful - there were many restaurants within a couple of blocks - a Starbucks downstairs for a morning coffee
It was very easy to get to Union Station to take Amtrak to Philadelphia - lobby was a big interior patio with a kind of pool - room was perfectly clean, quiet and well equipped - fitness room and the swimming pool offered relaxation after a hard day - 2 blocks from an excellent churrascaria Fogo de Chao or in the other direction Legal Seafood
Location was close to White House and other DC attractions including Verizon Center - subway accessed via hotel lobby - three or four level Cure bar served fun small plates for lunch, good value and freshly cooked - hotel bar was awesome and even took the time to prepare extra vegetables for children
