This was a great hotel - pleasant stay - the downtown location of the hotel was optimal - nice historic hotel - this was a very nice hotel for the money
Service in the restaurant was spotty - the front desk was so very helpful - Check in was a pleasure - Stay was just fine, Saturday night 'crowd' in lobby, interesting - front desk staff was pleasant and check-in was fast and simple
The hotel was right next to Franklin park - the location was very convenient to travel around the DC area and it was within walking distance to the Whitehouse and the Smithsonian - the neighborhood caters to large gatherings and nice restaurants and lounges were in close proximity - lovely room, but some problems & crime in the area - the rooms were nice and the bathrooms were great - the TV only provided me with paid programs - the bed was very comfortable for me
