DC Circulator is a circulator bus system serving mainly downtown in Washington, DC. This bus service is owned by private - public partnership namely Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority, District of Columbia Department of Transportation and DC Surface Transit Inc. This downtown bus service has total fleet of 29 buses with a daily total ridership of 10,000 individual and operated by First Transit. The bus service features 5 lines operating at frequency of 10 minutes.

The tickets are reasonably priced at 1 dollar for adults, 0.50 dollars for disabled and senior citizens. While tickets are free for children under five, High school and elementary students. The bus lines interconnect Union Station with Georgetown and Southwest Waterfront with Washington Convention center.
