The Washington, DC topography matches very much to the topography of Maryland. Washington, DC comprises of three main water bodies viz. the Potomac River, Rock Creek and the Anacostia flowing through the city. The Anacostia and the Potomac meet at a point which is known as the Arsenal point.
The highest point of Washington DC is about 125 meters above the sea level. Other significant geographical features of Washington, DC are the Columbia Island, The Hains Point, Theodore Roosevelt Island and the Three Sisters.
This city has the following man-made reservoirs - the Dalecarlia Reservoir, georgetown Reservoir and the McMillan Reservoir.
