The Virginia railway express is linked to the Union Station to reach Washington, DC subway at the downtown side. It uses orange line and it is the centre point for Ballston. Even the buses have four routes to Washington, DC metro which connect to Virginia orange line.

There are two ways by which Virginia is linked with Union station in Washington, DC metro. The Fredericksburg line from Fredericksburg is the place which Virginia is linked with through the station in Washington, DC. The Manassas line from the station is another line present in Bristow airport in Virginia.
