Freedom plaza is located in the northwest of Washington at the corner of 14th Street and Pennsylvania Ave NW. it is adjacent to the Pershing Park. The original name of freedom plaza is Western Plaza. The street level above plaza contains a large fountain and the equestrian statue of Kazimeirz Pulaski.

The district seat of Columbia government, John A Wilson building lies right in front of the plaza. Major political events and civic events in the Washington takes place in Freedom plaza. There are Many luxurious hotels near to the plaza.
