Water Sports in Washington DC: Features of Bladensburg Waterfront Park

Some of the features of this park are fishing pier, picnic pavilion, public boat ramp, B&O Railroad caboose, playground, community boathouse. Starting from weekend of May to October, canoe, rowboat, and kayak are offered on rent. With the help of a naturalist, you can explore the river on free pontoon boats. Some lessons on kayaking and canoeing are offered to water sport lovers. Some of the important events are Paddlesport Regatta, Ports Towns Day.

The Anacostia River Boat Tour is offered throughout the week between 12 noon to 12:45 pm except weekends. During weekends the tour is available between 5 pm to 5:45 pm. The fees for canoe ride is $5 an hour and $12 a day for residents while it is $6 an hour and $15 a day for non-residents.
